Iran had imposed a fuel embargo on Kurdistan

Ministry of roads and urban development of Iran imposed fuel embargo against Kurdistan, reports news Agency Tasnim.

«Given recent events in the region, it is advisable that international transport companies and drivers operating in the region, escaped the loading and transportation of petroleum products in the region of Iraqi Kurdistan and from until further notice», – stated in the Directive of the organization maintenance of roads and transport of Iran, which belongs to the Ministry of roads and urban development.

25 September in Iraqi Kurdistan held a referendum. More than 90% of voters supported the region’s independence.

In the vote on September 25 was attended by residents of the provinces of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk, as well as some areas outside the Kurdish Autonomous region.
