The wreckage during a morning walk found a local resident Julia Turner and her eight year old son. At first they thought that washed up on the beach the wreckage of the pier or fence, but soon realized that it was the wreckage of an old ship.

According to the researchers, the fragment of the ship is well preserved because it lay on the sandy bottom. They plan to recreate a 3D model of the ship.
