In the Ukrainian army entered the standard NATO medical evacuation

In the Armed forces of Ukraine entered the standard North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) medical evacuation. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine with reference to Deputy defense Minister Yuriy Gusev.

According to him, this standard is intended for use of armed forces while participating in joint operations with the countries-members of NATO and defines the basic concepts of medical evacuation procedures and types in the countries of the Alliance. The standard provides the opportunity to continue to develop reliable and strateegiline system evacuation, including aeromedical.

«Today the Ukrainian Armed forces have already introduced 65 NATO standards. The program of the Ministry of defense on military standardization in the years 2016-2018 envisages development of more than 70 standards, among which the most important are field manuals of Ground forces and facilities for the preparation and use of troops aimed at improving the level of interoperability of the Armed forces of Ukraine with countries-members of NATO,» — said Gusev.

Military standard «Joint doctrine for medical evacuation», which is based on NATO standard STANAG 2546 — AJMedP-2, approved by order of the chief of the Central office of Metrology and standardization of Armaments of the armed forces.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian doctors create to NATO standards is a new kind of first aid kits for the military.
