The security service of Ukraine analyzed the published in social networks a list of persons held hostage by the militants or missing in the area of Antiterrorist operations and said that they are incorrect and untrue.
This is stated in the statement of the joint center using the release of prisoners at SBU, said the secret service on the page in Facebook on Tuesday, January 24.
Note that the other day, January 22, extra fractional people’s Deputy Hope Savchenko published in the social network updated its own lists of the Ukrainian and Russian prisoners of war and missing persons.

«Reconciliation of the published official lists according to the joint center for coordination of search, the release of illegally detained persons, hostages and establishing the whereabouts of missing persons in the area of the antiterrorist operation (hereinafter – the Center) have never carried out», — stated in the message.
«Once again a Center in the framework of inter-Ministerial coordination in the search, the release of illegally detained persons, hostages and establishing the whereabouts of missing persons in the area of the antiterrorist operation created and maintained records of military personnel and civilians who have been wrongfully imprisoned or went missing in the area of the antiterrorist operation, as of 7 April 2014 (hereinafter – the Account). Information concerning victims shall be entered in the Account under the relevant requests of their relatives, reports of officials, public organizations, mass media, and the results of the exchange of information involved in the tasks of the antiterrorist operation subjects of fight against terrorism», — told in SBU.
The intelligence Agency also said that according to the records, as of November 28, 2016 in the chapel is 110 people missing in ATO area – 490.
«Regarding the 57 people from among the hostages, the Center received confirmed information about their detention, information about the whereabouts of others are not being checked and are specified», — was transferred to the SBU.
The report also notes that information on victims is taken into account in the Centre and is constantly used for the negotiation process for the release of hostages and search of missing persons during meetings of the Trilateral contact group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in the East of Ukraine, and also in the work of international humanitarian organizations in uncontrolled territory. «Systematically consulted with the relatives of persons held hostage or missing in the ATO area, which is updating and checking the information on the status of their relatives, and also adopted measures aimed at their release,» — said specslujbi.
