In the case of falsification of results of voting for «laws on January 16» on suspicion reported 14 persons, including former first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Kaletnik and ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. About it on air of TV channel «112 Ukraine» said the head of the Department of special investigations of the GPU Sergey Gorbatyuk.

«Upon investigation, not upon the making of laws, and the fact of falsification of voting results and the organization of the voting, were brought to justice, that is reported about suspicion to 14 persons. It is reported about suspicion to the first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Kaletnik, and 9 MPs and ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych,» — said Gorbatyuk.

According to him the suspicion that this is in fact falsification of the effectiveness of the vote, not the vote.

«If we talk about the vote, the Constitution provides that the MP is not responsible for how he votes. That is, a position which he has relatively of a law. The question here is actually about knew generally what to vote, the quality of these laws, signs of increasing repressive nature of these laws. It is a question of political responsibility. We are talking about prosecuting individuals who are charged with the falsification of the effectiveness of voting,» — said Gorbatyuk.

Recall, 16 January 2014 the Verkhovna Rada in «manual mode» introduced a package of 11 laws and one resolution, which was developed by the deputies from the party of regions Vladimir Oleinik and Vadym Kolesnichenko.
