In South Africa, MPs came to blows during the President’s speech

In the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa, the fight started when opposition members tried to prevent the speech of President Jacob Zuma, reports BBC.

Members of the radical party of the «Fighters for economic freedom» dressed in red, about an hour booed President Zuma, preventing him to continue his speech. Later, the guards in white brought them from the courtroom.

Outside Parliament police used stun grenades to disperse the opposition supporters.

The opposition has accused Jacob Zuma of corruption and nepotism, he has been criticized because of the economic situation in the country. In previous messages to the nation, the opposition demanded the resignation of Zuma.

We will remind, in March 2016 constitutional court of South Africa recognized the President violated the law, as it is not returned to the Treasury of the funds that are used for the construction of his private house, swimming pool and amphitheatre.

In April he managed to avoid impeachment, which was demanded by the opposition after learning about the embezzlement of funds.

Also recall that in 2014 the son of the President of South Africa was accused of murder.
