Employees of the seaside police Department of Odessa stopped criminal activity of a group of cyber criminals who deceived more than fifty citizens to 700 thousand hryvnias. On 24 February, reported in Department of communications of the Odessa regional management of the National police of Ukraine.
«Since may of last year to the law enforcement agencies began to receive complaints of citizens regarding fraudulent activities by unknown persons. the Attackers, according to the victims, snatched their cash by selling goods through online shopping. On these facts the investigative Department seaside police Department had initiated criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 190 (fraud) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Accompanying him, the staff of the then Department for combating cybercrime for the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of Primorsky district found that in Odessa an organized crime group composed of five people,» — noted in police.
Organized criminal activity of two men aged 24 and 22 years old.
