The state fiscal service (GFS) of Ukraine in the next month plans to work for two weeks with the technical mission of the fiscal Department of the International monetary Fund. In an interview with UKRINFORM told during a visit to Washington the head of the SFS of Ukraine Roman Nasirov.
«This morning (Wednesday, February 1 — ed) I had at the IMF meeting, where were discussed the main issues of the strategy of our cooperation in 2017. In March, we receive a technical mission. Therefore, we also said that we will do within two weeks of this mission», — said Ukrainian government official.
He said that it is not about the assessment mission of the IMF, which analyzes the results of the implementation of the agreement on expanded lending and on the technical mission of the fiscal Department of the IMF.
«Anyway, we are a major filler of the Ukrainian budget. It is important for them to understand that we are doing the right things, are on the right track of reform that the proposals that we implement yielding results,» — said the head Gospitalniy service of Ukraine.
He also stated that during the last two years Ukraine has demonstrated stable growth of government revenues by about 25-30%.
«In 2015-2016 — an absolutely stable from the point of view of filling the state budget, as well we are looking at 2017. And those are the issues on which we work,» — said Nasirov.
Recall, January 26, it was reported, if the Ukrainian side will quickly resolve all technical issues for the completion of the third review of the eff program of the IMF, the Executive Board may hold a meeting on the next tranche in the coming weeks.
In March, the Agency Nasirov will arrive IMF mission 02.02.2017
