In Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region is not the law of decommunization. As reported in the press service of Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, in the city today have not changed any names toponymic objects in the context of decommunization be renamed.
«From now on, according to the law, the renaming of streets and the dismantling of monuments of the Communist past will be engaged in the regional state administration. For this purpose a working group was created, it included historians, educators, cultural figures. They will consider all the names of streets, avenues, parks in the area. All the remnants of the Soviet past will be eliminated, including in Kryvyi Rih», — the press service quoted the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration Valentin Reznichenko.
The process is scheduled for completion in three months.
According to the information of regional state administration, currently in the field of new titles received 3584 streets, avenues and parks. Most of them are renamed into Dnepropetrovsk, Dneprodzerzhinsk and Nikopol. The leaders among the districts of Novomoskovsk, Magdalinovsky and Sumi. In addition, 220 dismantled monuments of the Communist past. They completely dismantled in Vilnohirsk, Yellow Waters, marhanets, Nikopol, Ordzhonikidze, Pershotravensk, Sinelnikovo, ternovke and 18 districts of the region.
