In Kiev will show a canadian film about the Holodomor

On 25 November in the Ukrainian house in Kyiv will take place the presentation of the film «Ukradena earth.» Took canadian filmmaker of Ukrainian origin, Yury meadow.

The documentary is based on previously unknown archival documents, memoirs of witnesses of the famine, reports Gazeta.ua.

The music for the film was written by Kiev-based composer Roman meadow. Speaker of the Ukrainian version of the national artist of Ukraine Bogdan Benyuk. In the English version of the film Genocide Revealed the author’s text reads winner of «Oscar» by Greg green. Translation of the interview was voiced by the actors Jill Hennessy and Lubomir Mikityuk.

«Ukradena land» won 12 awards at prestigious festivals of documentary films. Among them is the statue of the International American Indie film festival Indie Fest.
