In Kharkiv online separatist was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison

The court in Kharkiv was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment the man behind the spread of the Internet material with calls to change the borders of Ukraine. This is stated in the press service of the SBU on Wednesday, January 11.

Oktyabrsky district court of Kharkiv has convicted 39-year-old man under article «infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine» and «illegal handling of weapons and ammunition.» According to the SBU, the attacker illegally acquired and kept in the house a Kalashnikov AK-74 ammunition.

«39-year-old separatist posted online messages aimed at the destruction of Ukrainian statehood, the creation of quasi-governmental education «new Russia», detach the Western regions of Ukraine, strengthening of civil conflict between Donbas residents and residents of other regions, provoking mass riots, the escalation of the armed conflict», — stated in the SBU.

The Minister noted that the focus of illegal publications confirmed the conclusions of the experts of the Kyiv research Institute of forensic examinations.

Earlier, the SBU detained in Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region employee popular radio station, which was active in anti-Ukrainian propaganda in social networks.
