In Kazakhstan, the Parliament unanimously voted for self-dissolution

The Majilis (Parliament) of Kazakhstan at the plenary session on Wednesday, January 13, unanimously adopted an appeal to the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev with the request for an early dissolution of the house, according to DW.

«There were 103, voted 103 to the Deputy,» announced the results of the vote the speaker of the Majilis Kabibulla dzhakupov.

Earlier with the initiative on the dissolution of Parliament and calling early elections were made by the representatives of all three parliamentary parties — Nur Otan, AK Zhol and CPPK. Vice-speaker of the Kazakh Abai Tasbulatov suggested that elections could be held in late March.

Recall that the current composition of the Mazhilis was elected in January 2012. The powers of the deputies of the fifth convocation expire in the fall of 2016. The decision to dissolve the Majilis, after consultation with the chairmen of both chambers of Parliament and Prime Minister of the country made by the President. They are appointed by special election, to be held in the next two months.
