In India more than 60 children died in the hospital allegedly due to lack of oxygen

Starting from August 10 in a hospital in the Indian city of Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) died more than 60 children, among them infants, according to the online edition of India Times.

Rajiva Mishra – Director of the medical College Baba Raghav Das, where the tragedy occurred, is removed from office during the investigation.

It is noted that the supplier of Pushpa Sales informed the state government about duty on 1 August, 5 August, the College received the necessary funds. On 8 August the company informed the Director of the College that the delivery will suspend because of the debt. The online publication reports that the money was transferred only when the death of children became widely known.

The online edition of The Times of India writes that in five days killed at least 70 children. In the management of state information about the problems with the supply rejected it and stated that the cause of death was encephalitis.
