In North-Eastern India due to floods and landslides killed 85 people, according to the online edition of India Times.

It is noted that 58 of affected areas in the States of Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.

The publication writes that on July 11 in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, a landslide buried alive 14 people. By Thursday the death toll reached 50.

India Times reports that in the national Park of Kaziranga in Assam due to the significant increase in water level over a period of eight days, killed 53 animals, in particular, three rhinoceros. It is noted that 32 drowned, eight killed under the wheels of vehicles, trying to escape from the flooded Park.
