A fire broke out in one of the former military barracks. The building was almost completely burned. The fire spread to other buildings. According to «Interfax», the rescuers took 30 people to the hospital with suspected smoke inhalation. Most of them were able to leave the hospital soon after. Another 24 victims assisted in place. According to the latest data, a total of 57 injured people.

As it became known, police detained in connection with the fire, five of the suspects. It is reported TASS with reference to the representative of law enforcement bodies.

Five of the suspects lived in the orphanage. They could set fire to the mattresses that were in the building, said police.

There were about 110 firefighters. The shelter was designed to almost 900 people. At the time of emergency, there lived about 500 refugees.
