According to him, at tomorrow’s meeting he plans «to focus on the topics of security, exchange of hostages and how to agree on electoral modalities for free and fair elections».

«But will begin meeting in Minsk, with all its importance, and what happened yesterday in Crimea, with searches and arrests. We all love a good anniversary, but, unfortunately, the first anniversary of Minsk is not a good anniversary, because from the point of view of fulfilment by Russia of its obligations — I do not see any of them. We’ll talk tomorrow,» declared the foreign Minister of Ukraine.

Answering a question concerning the likelihood that such negotiations will take place, Klimkin said, «We agreed. If Lavrov doesn’t want to listen to what I tell him, what he will say Steinmeier and French side, look. But I very much hope that we will have this chance, and we very clearly are going to summarize our position, and as we see full implementation of the Minsk agreements».
