In four cities of the Federation of students will be evicted from hostels for the duration of the world Cup

At the time of the world Cup in the summer of 2018 in Russia students evicted from dormitories to settle in them of members of the national guard and police. This November 10 reported «Kommersant».

The Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation to the edition confirmed that the recommendation was developed on behalf of the government, but stated that «the rights of students will be met.»

Russian student’s Union (RSS) about the upcoming eviction was reported by students from Lower Nowogrod, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Saransk, the article reads.

The Union sent an appeal to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, noting that «the ultimate form of solving the problems with the violation of the rights of citizens provokes a rise in social tension.»

According to the head of the RCC Vasily Mikhailov, «the forced eviction of students from hostels, including on holidays, when many internship or work illegally».

He added that students are concerned about the possible time changes of the session and the conditions of practice. The eviction will also deprive them of the opportunity to attend the world Cup due to a sharp rise in the value of rental housing during the competition.

Up to this Federal Agency for tourism noted the absence of a suitable number of hotels in Russia in order to accommodate all fans during the world Cup.

The competition will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg.
