In Bulgaria, the refugees staged riots: police injured 20

Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov said that about 300 people were arrested and two dozen police officers were injured after riots in the largest refugee camp in the country, reports Radio Liberty.

«About 300 workers, six of whom on suspicion of endangering national security was arrested,» – said Borisov public radio BNR on 25 November after a visit to the camp.

According to the authorities, 1500-2000 migrants took part in clashes in a reception centre for migrants in Harmanli, near the border with Turkey.

According to preliminary data, the crowd of refugees, mostly from Afghanistan, began to burn tires and throw stones at police and firefighters in protest against the rule recently introduced quarantine prohibiting migrants to leave the center. Tensions escalated after protests by local residents, who demanded to close all the refugee camp.
