In Britain, launched an unmanned train

In the UK, Thameslink Railway has launched the first unmanned train. About it writes The Guardian.

The train will run between Peterborough and Horsham passing through London.

In the cockpit an unmanned train is the engineer, whose responsibility it is to monitor the operation of the automatic system to open and close doors for passengers.

The company expects that the launch of the unmanned trains will allow us to serve more passengers.

As the newspaper notes, the unmanned trains will accelerate and brake using the computerized system as soon as possible to pass on the shortest distance, about 100 metres from another structure.

On a project costing £7 billion ($10 billion) worked Paty years old, and the train was tested for 18 months.
