According to him, this Agreement is for the modernisation of the Ukrainian economy.

«A lot of discussion about where our market is. We’ll deal with it. The main thing is to have something enter the markets. I don’t want the Ukrainian economy remain commodity – we must have those standards, criteria, and the quality of the products that we have in Germany,» — said Ukrainian Prime Minister.

The financial situation stabilized in Ukraine, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

«The government is working actively to stabilize the financial sector because the financial sector is the benchmark for any economy is an open nerve: as soon as the situation is not stable, it immediately affects the stability of the banking sector. We have, finally, in the last two months of positive dynamics in the investment of deposits in the Ukrainian banking sector. This means that the situation will stabilize,» — said Yatsenyuk.

We will remind, initially it was assumed that the free trade regime between Ukraine and the EU will start functioning in October 2014. However, in September 2014 after consultations in Brussels representatives of the European Commission, Ukraine and Russia – the parties agreed to postpone the introduction of the provisions of the Agreement until December 31, 2015. Russia regularly has attempted to extend the deferment.

However, as underlined in the EU and Ukraine, Ukraine and the European Union do not need a postponement of the introduction of a comprehensive free trade zone, since any delay only postpones the necessary decisions. The agreement on free trade Zone with the European Union will come into force on 1 January 2016. At the same time, the Russian authorities have repeatedly noted that to impose an embargo on Ukrainian products — also from 1 January 2016.
