SEM parties would overcome the five percent threshold in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, if the vote was held in mid-February. This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the Kyiv international Institute of sociology.

Poroshenko and Tymoshenko would receive the most support if presidential elections were held next Sunday

It is noted that if those who are undecided whom to vote for, and those who want to vote against all, as usual, would not come to the elections, the voting would have taken about 41% of all voters, and votes would be distributed as follows: «In the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, among the adult residents, who have decided which party to vote, 16.6 per cent support the «Block of Petro Poroshenko «Solidarity», 15.1 per cent of the all-Ukrainian Union «Batkivshchyna», 14.2% of – «The opposition bloc», 11,8% – «Samopomich», 10,3% – Radical party, 6.2% of all-Ukrainian Association «Freedom», 5,3% – for «Civil position», — stated in the message.

It is noted that the highest support among the adult population of the territories now controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, have a «Block of Petro Poroshenko «Solidarity» (6,9% compared to all respondents), of the «Batkivshchyna» (6,3%) and «Opposition bloc» (5.9 percent). Some have less support and occupy fourth or fifth place, «Samopomich» (4.9%) and the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko (4.5 per cent). Low chances to enter the Parliament have IN «Freedom» (of 2.6%) and Civil position (2,2%).

Undecided 24.7% of respondents who will not come to vote of 26.4%.

During 5-16 February 2016 Kyiv international Institute of sociology (KIIS) conducted its own research on the current support ratings of the parties in Ukraine. By means of personal interviews were interviewed 2,020 respondents living in 110 settlements all over Ukraine (except Crimea) on stochastic sample, representative for the population of Ukraine aged 18 years.

In Lugansk region survey was conducted only in the territories controlled by the Ukrainian authorities in Donetsk region the survey was carried out in the territories that are controlled, and in the territories temporarily not controlled by Ukrainian authorities.

Statistical sampling error (with probability 0.95 and at design-effect of 1.5) does not exceed: 3,3% for indicators close to 50%, 2,8% — for indicators close to 25%, 2,0% — for indicators close to 10%, 1,4% — for indicators close to 5%, 0,7% for indicators close to 1 or 99%.

Poroshenko and Tymoshenko would receive the most support if presidential elections were held next Sunday

The current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and leader of the all-Ukrainian Association «Batkivshchyna» Yulia Tymoshenko would have received the most support of the citizens, if presidential elections were held next Sunday. This is evidenced by data the sociological research conducted by the Gorshenin Institute.

According to the survey, for Poroshenko ready to vote to 17.2% for Tymoshenko – 15,9%.

In addition, on presidential election the candidacy of leader of the party «Association «Samopomich» Andriy Sadovy ready to support the 11.8% of respondents, the President of the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko — 11,8%, the party «Opposition bloc» Yuriy Boyko — 10,7%, the party «Civic position» Anatoly Gritsenko — by 10.6%, ex-head of «Right sector» Dmitry Yarosh — 3.6%, the leader of the party «Ukrainian Union of patriots – DILL» Gennady Korban — 3,1%, businessman Igor Kolomoisky is 2.5%, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and 1.9%, Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko — 1%, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman — 0,8%, other candidates are ready to vote to 9.1%.

On the question of the choice of the candidate during the interview, only those who said that will go to the polls and decided on the choice of the candidate.

The Gorshenin Institute conducted a survey from 8 to 17 February. Altogether 2 thousand respondents, the sampling error does not exceed 2.2%.

Note, 43,4% of respondents Fund «Democratic initiatives» oppose early elections of the Verkhovna Rada.
