Yanukovych was President of Ukraine from February 25, 2010. He fled Kiev on 22 February 2014 in the midst of mass mass protests in the country.

February 22 2014 Verkhovna Rada recognized it withdrew from office and not performing his duties, after which he was declared new presidential elections. Now the ex-President and his family live in Russia.
