Hollande refused a second term

French President Francois Hollande said that he will not nominate his candidacy in the presidential elections of 2017. It is reported by Le Figaro.

Reportedly, Hollande made an appeal at the Elysee Palace. During his speech, Hollande spoke about the promises that he gave during the election campaign, and what they managed to accomplish.

Information of the same content appeared on the official account of the current French head of state in Twitter.

«I decided not to run for President to continue my mandate,» he wrote on Thursday, 1 November 2016.
