Held first ever talks between leaders of Ukraine and New Zealand

It is noted that the President of Ukraine drew the attention of the head of the new Zealand government to the need of expanding the legal base of relations. It was agreed to intensify the work on the draft agreements on investment protection and double taxation avoidance.

The two leaders also discussed issues of strengthening human contacts and mutual simplification of visa requirements.

Kay invited Poroshenko to visit New Zealand on a visit at a convenient time.
