Groysman signed the «visa package» of laws and sent them to the President

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman signed the Parliament adopted last week the laws included in the so-called «visa packet» that is required for the introduction of the European Union a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens, the press Secretary of the speaker Dmitry Stolyarchuk.

«Volodymyr Groysman signed passed by Parliament last week «visa-free» laws and sent to the President,» wrote Stolyarchuk on his account on Twitter on Wednesday.

As reported, last plenary week (16-19 February), the Verkhovna Rada adopted the remaining draft laws from the «visa package». In particular, the law on improvement of principles of the National Agency of Ukraine on identification, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (No. 4056); on improvement of procedure for seizure of property and special confiscation (No. 4054); on amendments to the law of Ukraine on countering corruption, concerning the operation of the electronic system for the provision and publication of declarations of persons authorized to perform functions in the state or bodies of local self-government (No. 3755); the law on transparency in the organization of activities of the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office (No. 4055).
