Parliament speaker Volodymyr Hroisman has promised that on Tuesday, February 2, Rada will try to include in the agenda the controversial law on exclusion of candidates from party lists.
He said this at a briefing after the conciliation Board, reports «Ukrainian truth».
«Regarding the bill 3700, Tuesday I’ll offer to include it in the agenda. To him different attitudes, but if you have the vision of political parties, I don’t see warnings to include it and consider it,» said Groisman.
At the same time, he criticized a similar bill that applies to local councils of deputies.
«Here 3693, which we have included in the agenda and adopted as a basis, I believe that this law is not very democratic. I won’t vote. The program provides for the recall of deputies of local councils of their party organizations», — said Groisman.
«But these elections of deputies of local councils were under the new law. And every one of them who won, it’s not closed party lists, they have won in the constituencies, on their own, as individuals. And now a recall? No,» he concluded.
As reported, at the conciliation Council on Monday, 1 February, the leader of the faction PPO Yuriy Lutsenko demanded to include in the agenda of the scandalous law on the withdrawal of candidates from party lists.
Recall that in late October, the party «Block of Petro Poroshenko «Solidarity» offered after the election to deprive of mandates of deputies of local councils, which «is not consistent with the vision of the party Charter and programme of the party».
In addition, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed the Constitutional Commission to consider the issue of recall of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on popular initiative.
