Groysman called the way out of the political crisis and explained why he announced the collapse of the coalition

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman believes that there are three ways out of the crisis — the voluntary resignation of the government, a deep reformatting of the Cabinet or early elections.

«As for the crisis, there are several ways to untie him. The first is the voluntary resignation of the government and the formation of a new government with a new plan of action, it is a deep reformation of the government that can unite the coalition, but Pro-democracy coalition, and the third position is early elections», — said Mr. Groisman on Thursday, February 25, evening on air of TV channel «112.Ukraine».

Answering the question of which option it supports, the speaker of Parliament said: «I am for an option that will be fast, quality and responsible».

According Groisman, option quality action plan and the formation under his command are real.

Groisman also said that despite the fact that three of the five parliamentary factions of the coalition announced the release of her de jure under the Coalition agreement remains 237 signatures of people’s deputies.

«De facto faction 3 from 5 out (of the coalition — ed.) and de jure today, there are 237 signatures (under the coalition agreement)», he said.

According Groisman, legally about the collapse of the coalition can be said when the MPs will withdraw their signatures under the Coalition agreement, and under it will be less than 226 signatures.

Recall, 16 January the Verkhovna Rada listened to the report of the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on the government’s work in 2015, dismissed him, acknowledging that the work is not satisfactory, but during the vote of no confidence in the government has gained only 194 votes with the required 226. In accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, in the next three weeks Yatsenyuk is to propose a new composition of the government either to resign, otherwise it will be considered the question of confidence in him personally.

February 17, faction «Batkivshchyna» announced its withdrawal from the coalition. In September 2015 the coalition left Radical party of Oleg Lyashko.

Without representatives «Samopomich», «the BYuT representatives» and «radicals» in the coalition «European Ukraine» will remain 217 deputies at the minimum required 226 members to form a majority.

On February 19 the first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy said that the parliamentary coalition is more than 226 deputies, and therefore it exists.

First Deputy head of procedural Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Pavel Pynzenik said that legally the faction of the Radical party still resides in the composition of the parliamentary coalition.

The Prime Minister says that the necessary reformatting of the coalition and changes to the coalition agreement. Also Yatsenyuk is conducting talks on the future of the coalition with the leader of the «radical» Oleh Lyashko.

The leader of the BPP «Solidarity» Yury Lutsenko demands that Yatsenyuk has suggested the new government or gone.

Many politicians and experts talk about the inevitability of early parliamentary elections.
