Groisman: In 2018 we are planning economic growth over 3%. But this is not enough. In the medium term, GDP growth should be 5 — 7%

In the medium term, economic growth in Ukraine should be at the level of 5-7% of GDP. This was during a Cabinet meeting on January 31 Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, reports the correspondent of the edition «GORDON».

«We focusareas on how to lay strong foundations for accelerated economic growth. This year we plan to increase more than 3%. But we know that for quick changes, this growth is not enough. Therefore, we must create the conditions to reach in 2018 for greater growth. We aim that sustainable economic growth in Ukraine should not be less than 5-7%. The goal we set in the medium term», – said the Prime Minister.

Moody’s expects Ukraine’s GDP growth of 3.5% in 2018, as well experts say the world Bank. They predict growth of 4% in 2019 and 2020. In the state budget of Ukraine GDP growth this year is estimated approximately at 3% when inflation is 9%.
