The General Prosecutor of Ukraine on 29 November summoned the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the investigation of crimes committed in January-February 2014 against activists of Euromaidan.
«Directed to the administration’s agenda on 29 November,» — said the head of the Department of special investigations of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Serhiy Gorbatyuk the Agency «Interfax-Ukraine» on Tuesday.
Previously, Mr. Yan said that in the Prosecutor’s office continue to wait for Poroshenko for questioning on «maydanovsky».
August 8 this year, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that current and former senior officials of Ukraine called for questioning by «maydanovsky». A number of senior politicians and officials invited during August to the Department of special investigations of the General Prosecutor’s office as witnesses in the investigation of crimes committed in January-February 2014 against activists of Euromaidan. Invited, in particular, the President of Ukraine Poroshenko, ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Gennady Moskal and others.
The press Secretary of the President Svyatoslav Tsigalko said Poroshenko will arrive to the investigators of the Prosecutor General to testify in the investigation of crimes committed in January-February 2014 against activists of the Euromaidan, after the official call for interrogation.
October 3, Mr. Yan said that Yatsenyuk, Klitschko and Moskal ignore calls for questioning under investigation «maydanovskih Affairs», while Poroshenko has not yet appeared «window» in the schedule in order to testify in this case.
