The head of the Department of special investigations of the Prosecutor General Sergei Gorbatyuk has decided to challenge in court the refusal of access to the competition for the position of head of the State Bureau of investigation. He reported about it in interview to the newspaper «Today».
Gorbatyuk noted that the competition Commission removed him from the selection, thinking that he lacks experience in a managerial position.
«He said that I don’t have enough experience in leadership positions. As the chief he is two years and three months. But the laws and conditions are not clearly spelled out what leadership position. I repeatedly entrusted to head a special investigative team. They included 20 people, 50 or even more. This leadership position? I think, Yes. Therefore, the decision of the jury to withdraw my candidacy from the contest do not agree. Going to challenge it. He intends to compete…», he said.
