The militants must release Ukrainian hostages, without conditions, and Amnesty for them is possible only after the return of the rule of law in the occupied territory of Donbass. About this in Facebook napsala the Deputy Irina Gerashchenko, representing Ukraine in the humanitarian sub-group in the tripartite contact group on settlement of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
21 October in the so-called «DNR» stated that the exchange of the captive in the format «all for all» is possible only after the adoption in Ukraine and the entry into force of the law on Amnesty for those who fought against the Ukrainian government in the Donbass.
«Militants publicly voiced those unacceptable positions, which for several months trying to blackmail Ukraine in the issue of the hostages. In fact, they publicly took responsibility for the failure of the implementation of the Minsk agreements, linking two completely different point and question,» — wrote Gerashchenko.
«They’re trying to tie the release of our heroes of Amnesty to the bandits,» she said.
«The second problematic issue: they are trying to artificially reduce the number of hostages, turning the release in an inappropriate bargaining», — added Gerashchenko.
It called unacceptable conditions of the militants and blackmail.
«What is our position? First, the unconditional release of all hostages is a compulsory item of the Minsk agreements, which had to be fulfilled,» — said Gerashchenko.
«Our heroes are in the basement lnrow-dnro illegally. And the responsibility for this public statement on the disruption of the Minsk agreements now falls squarely on the fighters and the country that supports them, – the Russian Federation. And we will exert pressure in all possible ways with the requirement to implement the Minsk agreement to release the hostages,» she said.
«Amnesty is a totally different item of the Minsk agreements, and it can come into effect only after the return of the rule of law in the occupied territories and the withdrawal of «Pinocchio,» — said Gerashchenko.
