Gerashchenko: in the checkpoints in the ATO zone decreased queue

In the Donbas due to the growth in the number of security forces who were connected to work on the checkpoints of entry/exit (KPVV), managed to reduce the time of stay of citizens in line at the demarcation line.

On the evening of January 12, during the briefing in Kramatorsk said the first Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko, which in the framework of the visit to the Donetsk region together with the Minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons Vadim Chernysh visited KPVV «Mayors», reports UKRINFORM.

“On the eve of the New year we together with Vadim Chernysh addressed to all law enforcement agencies with a request that before the holidays, when increasing flow of people crossing the line of collision via PPC, increased the number of workers checkpoints. The problem was very serious that it was necessary to align the number of fiscal agents and representatives of the security Service of Ukraine to the number of guards in order to accelerate the KPVV. This was done, and the people with whom we spoke today talked about the fact that they stood in line for 1.5 and 2 hours. That is a lot, but not 4, not 5 hours», — said Gerashchenko.

She noted that it is necessary to increase the efforts of all power structures, thereby increasing the number of jobs. Gerashchenko added that it is possible to appeal to international partners to help equip technically even more jobs in the KPVV, so it always requires certain financial efforts.

Recall that in early January the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and OSCE Chairperson, Minister for Europe, integration and foreign Affairs of Austria Sebastian Kurz visited the KPVV Pischevik in the Donetsk region.
