Georgia will become a major exporter of gas to Turkey and Eastern Europe

For three to five years Georgia will become a gas exporter and can supply gas to Turkey and Eastern Europe. This was stated in Washington, at the meeting of the Atlantic Council, the head of the American company «Frontera» Steve Nickerson, reports Georgia online.

«I think that found in Georgia gas resource is approximately 5 trillion cubic meters. The Deposit is located in Eastern Georgia. These volumes will be put on the market for 10 years and will change the rules of the game in gas supplies,» he said.
