Gabbana: I don’t want to be called gay

Italian fashion designer Stefano Gabbana called for the abandonment of labels related to sexual orientation of people. He said this in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

«I don’t want people to call me gay, I’m just a man. Stop! The word «gay» came up with a man who likes to take shortcuts, and I do not want to be identified by my sexual preferences,» he said.

Stefano Gabbana along with Domenico Dolce founded the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. He is one of the richest men of Italy.
