From 1 March the minimum electricity tariff for the population will grow by 25%

The national Commission for the state regulation in energy and utilities (CREATED), 1 March 2016, increases the minimum electricity tariff for the population by 25% to 57 kopecks. per kW/h.

According to the document, the minimum rate is set at a monthly electricity consumption of 100 kW/h. the Entire volume in excess of 100 kWh is sold at a rate of 99 kopecks per kWh If monthly consumption exceeds 600 kWh, the rate of 156 kopecks per kWh for the excess amount.

As reported by March 2017 electricity consumers are divided into two groups: those with consumption up to 100 kWh per month and with a consumption above 100 kWh per month. For the first group of consumers the cost of electricity in March 2017 will amount to 0.9 UAH per kW/h For the second group to 1.68 UAH per kW/h.
