Former state Duma Deputy from the Communist Denis Boronenkov gave the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine of criminal case of treason against former President Viktor Yanukovych. Reported «Kommersant».
According to a source close to the GPU, Denis Boronenkov «he took the initiative, went to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko and gave testimony in the case of Yanukovych.»
The interlocutor of «Kommersant» has not excluded that by the end of this conversation Lutsenko brought Yanukovych of treason.
According to information Boronenkov partially confirmed investigators testimony previously given by another former Russian MP Ilya Ponomarev, who received in the summer of 2016 residence permit in Ukraine.
Ponomarev met with the Ukrainian investigators, including the chief military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios, a few times in December and January. Investigators, he spoke about the agreements between Yanukovych and the Russian leadership.
Until recently, Ilya Ponomarev was considered in Kiev one of the key witnesses in this case. But a few days ago, Lutsenko said that his testimony against Yanukovych gave another former Russian MP.

The investigative Committee of Russia suspects Denis Boronenkov in of involvement in the theft of the building in Central Moscow and tried to achieve deprivation of his parliamentary immunity.
The Ukrainian edition «Business capital» earlier, first reported that he and his wife Maria Maksakova, representing in the Duma of the sixth convocation of the «United Russia», moved to live from Moscow to Kiev in December 2016.
However, according to «Kommersant», Maksakova continues to regularly visit Russia, where she performed at the Mariinsky theatre.
Earlier Prosecutor General of Ukraine issued two summonses with a call on interrogation of the former President Viktor Yanukovych, who is hiding in Russia.
As reported, January 20, Pechersk district court of Kyiv allowed the Chief military Prosecutor’s office conduct against the former President Viktor Yanukovych in absentia proceedings on charges of treason.
Yuriy Lutsenko said that the Prosecutor General’s office plans to complete pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings for treason of ex-President Yanukovych in February 2017.
