The members of the Advisory Committee for the selection of candidates for the post of head of the National police of Ukraine plans to submit to the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov candidacy of Konstantin Bushuev, Andrey Vishnevsky and Sergei Knyazev. On this day, 6 February, said the Secretary of the Commission Evgeny Zakharov, reports «Ukrainian truth».
Zakharov said that the members of the Advisory Commission on Saturday met with interior Minister Arsen Avakov.
According to him, their Minister was «substantial discussion» about candidates. As Zakharov, reported today the three selected candidates should meet with the Minister Avakov. And the winner of the contest for the post of Chairman of national police, according to Zakharov, it can be expected in the coming days.
The tendering process adopted by the Commission, was received until January 9 resume and cover letters from everyone who wants to take the post of head of National police of Ukraine (NPU). With 45 candidates sent their documents to between 4 and 8 January, so the last translation of documents into English was completed only on January 15.
All in all there were 70 applications for participation in competition applicants, but 24 candidates did not meet the necessary qualification requirements for the position: full higher legal education, work experience in the field of law at least 7 years of experience in senior positions at least 5 years. These 24 candidates were disqualified, the remaining 46 were invited to a qualifying test which was held on January 24. Three candidates have refused further participation in the competition, and testing, so were 43 candidates.
The previous head of national police Khatia Dekanoidze resigned 14 November 2016.
