For people’s deputies can introduce a mandatory psychiatric evaluation

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on rules propose to introduce a mandatory, twice a year, a psychiatric examination of people’s deputies. This was announced by the people’s Deputy Borislav Bereza in his Facebook, with the text of his address to Paul Pynzenik.

This initiative Birch proved by the fact that elected officials «systematically violate the rules of ethics for the Deputy, get into fights, and, in some cases, violate the law and impede police officers to perform their duties.»

MP believes that such conduct causes significant reputational damage to Parliament and proposes «to consider the possibility of introducing a mandatory psychiatric evaluation for people’s deputies of Ukraine twice a year (spring and autumn) by making appropriate changes in the rules of the Parliament».

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decree on the introduction of rules of ethical conduct of public servants.
