For 10 months of 2017, the refugee status in Poland got 56 Ukrainians. About this Facebook said the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.

175 Ukrainians were awarded the status of a person who needs extra protection.

The Agency notes that in 2016, the refugee status was assigned to 32 the Ukrainians, and 64 are recognized as persons in need of complementary protection.

«According to official information of the office for foreigners of Poland, January–October 2017 appealed to them 625 citizens of Ukraine with a request to provide them with international protection. In 2016, such appeals were 1306, which indicates the decrease of this category of persons is almost twice», – stated in the message.

As of July 1, 2017 legal residence permit in Poland were more than 128 thousand of citizens of Ukraine (79 persons had refugee status).

In the first half of 2017, citizens of Ukraine issued 91,4 thousand work permits of different types.

«For comparison, during 2016, the Ukrainians received 103,2 thousand work permits, and for the first half of 2016 – 41 thousand, which indicates the growth of this indicator in 2017, almost twice», – stated in the message.

The Embassy added that diplomatic and consular offices of Poland in the first nine months of 2017 issued 988,2 thousand visas (Schengen and national). Compared to the same period in 2016, the number of visas issued has not changed, but the number of issued national visas type D (employment, training, family reunification) in 2017 has increased in 1,5 times», – told the Agency.
