Flynn pleaded guilty to making false statements about contacts with the Russian Ambassador

A former adviser to the U.S. President for national security Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to making false statements to agents of the FBI and expressed readiness to cooperate with the investigation. He said this at a hearing in Federal court in Washington, writes Reuters.

The office of the special Prosecutor Robert Mueller filed against Flynn’s charges to two counts of disinformation the FBI regarding contacts with the former Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak.
