Feigin called unsubstantiated talk about the imminent resolution of the situation with Savchenko

Lawyer mark Feigin called the unsubstantiated talk about the imminent resolution of the situation with the illegally imprisoned in Russia Ukrainian pilots Hope Savchenko. About this Feigin wrote on Twitter.

«Legally, freedom of Nadezhda Savchenko can be arranged for either a pardon, or through a request under the Convention 1983 All», — the lawyer noted. (The Council of Europe Convention on the transfer of sentenced persons, signed in 1983 – ed).

At the same time, Feigin stressed that serving the sentence Savchenko in the case of its transfer to Ukraine is impossible due to her immunity as a delegate from Ukraine to the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

«In the case of a transfer to serve sentences of Nadezhda Savchenko, she can’t sit down in Ukraine. She has immunity delegate PACE,» he wrote.

Also the lawyer noted that any talk of it will soon be resolved with the release of Savchenko are, «to put it mildly, unfounded.»

«How things will be, I’ll let you know. All sorts of confabulation as to the liberation of Savchenko (on airships, through the underground passage) are information spreading. So were sitting quietly», — he added.

In addition, Feigin noted that, according to him, force-feeding to Ukrainian pilots today were not applied.

Today, April 9, another lawyer Savchenko Ilya Novikov said that the pilots transferred from prison to a colony will not take place, and in the next few days can come the good news about the fate of his client.

The lawyer said that the «fundamental news» is waiting for next week.

According to him, between Moscow and Kiev is currently being negotiated, «rather, they are moving in the right direction, albeit slower than we would like».
