«Fair Russia» will support the candidacy of Putin

The party «Fair Russia» instead of nominating a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation decided to support the candidacy of acting President Vladimir Putin. This was stated to journalists by the leader of the party Sergey Mironov, «Interfax».

According to him, representatives of «Fair Russia» will be included in the initiative group and will «conduct agitation already for our common candidate».

Mironov was a candidate in the presidential elections in 2004 and 2012 and both times I finished last.

Presidential elections will be held on 18 March 2018. At the moment on plans for the extension stated by the journalist Ksenia Sobchak, the leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the founder of «Yabloko» Grigory Yavlinsky, the businessman Sergey Polonsky, journalist Catherine Gordon, the Russian blogger Nigerian-born Samson Sholademi, business Ombudsman Boris Titov and others.

Acting President Vladimir Putin announced his intention to run on December 6. He will go to elections as the independent candidate.
