Exhumation of the remains of Olesya was forced — Ukrainian charge d’affaires of the Czech Republic

The exhumation of the remains of poet Alexander Oles (Kandyba) was forced as the coffin was rotten. This was stated by charge d’affaires of Ukraine in the Czech Republic Zinovy hoshovskyy in the air Еспресо.TV.

«The exhumation was forced. And it explained the General Director of the Prague cemeteries management. Alexander Oles was buried in 1944, his wife in 1948, coffins completely rotten, so the remains failed. When they opened the coffin, it turned out. So the remains had to Jack up and move them,» said hoshovskyy.

According to him, the remains managed to see and photograph the Ukrainian side. Further agreed that the remains of the writer kept in the Depository.

We will remind, Alexander Oles (1878-1944) until recently was buried in a cemetery in Prague. On 3 January 2017, his remains were exhumed, as in its place decided to bury another person — Vladimir Myhaylishyna, which in recent years has paid rent for the grave of the Ukrainian poet.

Oles will be reburied in Ukraine.
