The Russian defense Ministry plans to replace the 330 military bases and warehouses on a 24 handling and logistics facilities, one of which bude in the occupied Crimea, and 5 — near the Ukrainian border.

A source in the defense Ministry explains that the desire to «reduce the cost almost doubled to 14.8 billion rubles and expand the logistical capabilities to supply the army».

Then there was information that Russia is planning to build a second large military base 45 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
