In 2015 in Ukraine’s economy by foreign investors invested 3.76 billion dollars and withdrawn 891,3 million dollars of direct investment.
This is stated in the report of the Ministry of economic development and trade.
«Capital reduction due to revaluation, losses and the reclassification, according to the state, for this period is 5,245 billion, including exchange rate differences — 5,024 billion dollars», — is informed in the report.
As noted, the amount of attracted from the beginning of investment foreign direct investments into the economy of Ukraine as at 31 December 2015 $ 43,371 billion.
The ten major investor countries, which account for 83% of total direct investments include: Cyprus — 11,744 billion dollars, the Netherlands — 5,610 billion, Germany -5,414 billion dollars, Russia — 3,392 billion dollars, Austria — 2,402 billion, UK — 1,852 billion, virgin Islands — 1,798 billion, France — 1,528 billion dollars, Switzerland — 1,364 billion and Italy — 972,4 million dollars.
In ten oblasts: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Luhansk, Lviv, Odessa, Zaporizhzhya, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast and in Kyiv city received the most investments — 93.9 per cent of all foreign direct investment.
«The direction of foreign direct investment and capital investment in the regional context is not conducive to equitable social and economic development of the regions and further reinforces the widening gap in their development,» the report said.
