Director of the Ukrainian library in Moscow has left under arrest for another 3 months

Presnensky court of Moscow has left under extended house arrest of Director of the Ukrainian library in Moscow , the Natalia Sarinay for three months. This was reported by her lawyer Ivan Pavlov on Facebook.

«Presnensky (or, as it is popularly called, Zoological), the court granted the petition of the investigator and extended the term of house arrest of Natalia Sarinay for 3 months,» he wrote.

According to the lawyer, the court did not allow Sarinay even short walks.

«Short walks are still banned. The judge had no sufficient evidence of ill health Sarinay. Apparently, for the court was allowed to walk, at first she had become seriously ill. As in the joke: «I’ll kill you — and then come,» said Pavlov.

However, according to him, the court went to some concessions protection, slightly loosening the regime of house arrest.

«Now Natalia can without breaking anything to communicate with their lawyers by phone. Prior to that, she such a possibility was denied,» added the lawyer.

As reported, on October 28 in the Library of Ukrainian literature in Moscow was searched in connection with the information regarding the «extremist» texts.

The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on Sarinay political article 282 of the Russian criminal code («incitement of national hatred and enmity»).

October 30, Tagansky court of Moscow sanctioned the petition of the investigation to house arrest Shirinoy up to December 27. Later Presnensky district court of Moscow extended the term of house arrest of the Director of the Library of Ukrainian literature of Natalia Sarinay for 30 days — until 28 January 2016.
