In the State Duma suggest to allow to block sites for announcements of unauthorized shares. About this newspaper «Vedomosti» with reference to the legislative amendments submitted by the deputies Yuri Svitkin (United Russia), Oleg Nikolaev («Fair Russia») and Alexander Yushchenko (CPRF).

Operating since 2014 the procedure of blocking MPs believe is too complex. Now to close the website, the Prosecutor General’s office need to collect all the information on junk content, submit it to the court and win it. Under the proposed amendments, the Department will only need to send a request to Roskomnadzor.

The reason for the blocking of Internet-resources can be «appeals to mass riots, extremist activities and participation in mass events held with violation of the law,» said the bill.

The head of the Federal headquarters of Alexei Navalny Leonid Volkov believes this bill is another «law against Navalny.»

«For example, we believe that the meeting was agreed, and the authorities – no. And now they are out of court will have the opportunity to block sites. And we have to prove that the shares were agreed. In Russian courts is unreal», – he explained.

In addition, the amendments would allow us to block sites banned non-profit organizations. Now in Russia 11 such organizations and their sites are still available, says the publication.

«Radio Liberty» recalls that in mid-September, the European court of human rights has accepted for consideration the complaint of locking in Russia websites «Kasparov.ru», «Face.ru», «Roskomsvoboda» and several other resources.

On 26 September the head of Roskomnadzor Alexander Zharov said that in 2018 the country can block Facebook, if the social network does not fulfill the law on personal data localization.
