Convicted in the U.S. of Russian pilot Yaroshenko wrote a letter to Trump

In the United States convicted pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko in a letter addressed to us President Donald Trump, was asked about returning to Russia. About this report «Izvestia» with reference to the text of the letter, as well as statements of Yaroshenko and his wife.

The letter was delivered to the White house July 4, through the Russian Embassy in Washington.

In particular, in his message to Trump Yaroshenko noted that serving a sentence for an illegal and unjust sentence, but hopes for «humanity and understanding of a difficult situation». He stressed that it would be hard to be away from home and especially from his family.

«It is an appeal to Donald Trump is my last chance to return to Russia in his right mind. I hope the US President will show humanity and mercy to hand me to the authorities of Russia», – said the publication of the pilot.

According to the wife of Russian pilot Victoria, «if the President of the United States will have mercy on the coast, he will have mercy on all our family.»

Yaroshenko was arrested in may 2010 in African Liberia by the staff of the national security Agency of the USA on suspicion of planning to transport large quantities of drugs into the United States. In September 2011, the U.S. district court for the southern district of new York sentenced him to 20 years in prison.

In may this year the Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova has signed a formal appeal to the Trump, in which he asked the American President to pardon Yaroshenko, says RBC.
