Ukrainian Sergey Litvinov, who was convicted in Russia for eight and a half years in a strict regime on trumped-up charges of robbery, was transferred from the colony in the Rostov region in Magadan.

«According to the latest information, political prisoner, Ukrainian Sergey Litvinov from the colony in the Rostov region was transferred to Magadan. In the colony confirmed, saying that he was taken «somewhere North,» wrote Goncharova.
The only colony in the Magadan region – is the IK-4 in the village Uptar. The village is administratively part of the boundaries of the regional center, but physically distant from it by about 40 miles. In 2015-2016 in the IR-4 contained another Ukrainian – defendant in the case of «Crimean terrorists» Alexey Chirny, who was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. In may 2016 Chirniya with clear purpose was brought to Moscow, and from there to the end of September was taken to the SIZO-5 in Rostov-on-don.
As reported, Litvinov was arrested in the summer of 2014 on charges of «illegal methods of warfare». It was about the murder of several dozen civilians, Luhansk region, which he allegedly committed in a part of the volunteer battalion «Dnepr-1». However, the defense proved that the «victims» Litvinova never existed. After that, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation withdrew the charges, leaving «only» a robbery. He was sentenced to 8,5 years of imprisonment.
Convicted in Russia of Ukrainian Litvinov was transferred to Gelendzhik 31.01.2017
