Chongar mounted a 108 metre tower, which will broadcast in Crimea

Chongar is already installed, 108 of the 150-metre tower, which will give a signal to the annexed Crimea. This was announced by the Chairman of Genichesky RGA Alexander Vorobyov on his page in Facebook.

«Through unknown forces, through the wind, rain and sleet, 108 meters of 150 news rigs on Chongar already penetrate dense fog», — he wrote.

As of December 26, height is 90 meters.

Earlier, the Deputy Minister of information policy Artem Bidenko at the briefing of 22 December predicted that broadcasting of Ukrainian TV channels on the territory of Crimea with the TV tower on Chongara will begin before the end of winter.

The national Council at the meeting on 27 December announced the winners of the competition for obtaining the license for broadcasting using free radio channels. Four local radio can broadcast in Crimea from Chongar.

In response, Russia annexed the Crimea said that the broadcasting of Ukrainian media on the territory of the Peninsula will be discontinued as inconsistent with Russian law.
